Vegan Substitutions

If you want to make vegan rice crispy edibles, a few simple swaps will do the trick.
Many traditional marshmallows contain gelatin made from animal collagen, so look for vegan options made with plant-based ingredients. Brands like Dandies are a popular substitute.
You can also replace butter with cannabis-infused coconut oil or vegan butter. Coconut oil works especially well because it carries cannabinoids efficiently and adds a subtle richness to the treats.
The main difference you may notice is texture. Vegan marshmallows sometimes melt slightly differently, so the final treats may be a bit softer.
