FIRST CANNABIS SCRATCH N SNIFF PACKAGING TO HIT THE MARKET!
According to Benjamin Lind, HSC Owner and Chief Science Officer “The cost associated with dedicating a portion of a cannabis crop to terpene extraction seemed to scare some of our potential collaborators away, but now with California’s cannabis prices tanking it made perfect sense to our long-time seed customers One Straw Farm and Burr’s Place”.
The actual Scratch n Sniff ink does not contain any controlled substances, so it’s presumed legal to send around the country. Coming from real cannabis buds the Scratch n Sniff is absolutely the closest that you can get to smelling the actual flowers!
Below are answers to a few questions from Brett Miller, the CEO of Burr’s Place Organics
What is the product called?
It’s not really a product, but rather it’s an addition to products we already offer. We are two companies, Burr’s Place and One Straw Farm both offering consumers packaged cannabis with Scratch n Sniff attached to the package. Burr’s Place is offering two strains to the public: Orange CreamPop, offered in 28-gram, 14 grams, and 7-gram bags and in 3.5-gram jars. Burr’s Place will also offer Blueberry Muffin in the same capacity.
One Straw Farm will offer Nutter Budder in 3.5-gram jars. The Scratch n Sniff element will be in the form of a sticker attached to the front of the bags and top of the jars. In Addition to the Scratch n Sniff being applied to the product it will also be applied to a “strain profile leaflet” that will be available for free anywhere our products are sold.
How wide is the initial release?
We will be offering this packaging to any dispensary who wants it, but the initial release will go out to around 7 stores. The Woods In LA, Erba Markets, Tioga Green in Lee Vining, the Bract House in Sonora, Green and Gold in San Andreas, Pure Aloha in Murphys, Little Trees in Avery, and a few more locations we are working out details with.
Which strains will be on offer with the HSC Scratch and Sniff option?
Humboldt Seed Company’s Orange Creampop, Nutter Budder, and Blueberry Muffin.
